Kim Burns, from Wimbledon College of Arts, was selected as the Staff Vote winner. Employees from across Clyde & Co, from business services to lawyers and partners, vote to select their favourite artist to win the £2,000 prize. Kim is shown below with her paintings ‘Hekate’ and ‘Lady Amby’.

Auction Launched!

As part of the Clyde & Co Art Award, we facilitate the sale of the artworks through an online auction. The artists receive the full value of the successful bids. Any unsold work is returned to the artists at the end of the year.

Auction Process –  Details of the art works and how to make a bid are available here. Guide prices (set by students) start from £70. Bids must be placed by 31st July 2020. The highest bidder for each piece shall be notified of their successful bid. Artworks will then be available for collection at the end of the exhibition in August 2020.

This year’s art works were selected from the 2019 degree shows of Camberwell, Central St Martins, Chelsea, City & Guilds and Wimbledon Colleges of Art. Purchasing work through the auction is a wonderful way of supporting new talent in the arts. The Clyde & Co Art Award encourages and nurtures emerging talent in the visual arts, offering an exceptional opportunity for graduating art students to showcase and to sell their work. They also receive financial support, mentoring and pro bono legal and business advice from Clyde & Co staff. We hope to assist in the graduates’ development as successful artists and to prepare them for their lives as creative entrepreneurs. Please visit our Auction page to view the new collection and find out more.
